Looking for a motorhome? Explore Zenith, a $5 million two-story palace on wheels
If you thought you’d seen everything in the world of motorhomes and campers, Zenith may prove you wrong. This $5 million, two-story palace on wheels combines luxury, cutting-edge technology and 115 square meters of living space. The project was developed by former race car driver Michael Andretti and his wife Jody, according to Autoevolution.
History and uniqueness
Zenith was commissioned in 2020 as an upgraded version of an older motorhome for the IndyCar racing season. The project was developed by Andretti in collaboration with the Bouchard Design Collective. The trailer is currently owned by TWG Global, a holding company managed by Mark Walter, who also owns the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team.
The motorhome’s most distinctive feature is its two full levels and an outdoor terrace. When parked, the second floor literally «emerges,» doubling the living space through a specialized electric mechanism. In fact, Zenith is the only trailer of its kind in the world, as motorhomes of this scale are no longer produced.
A remarkable interior
Designed to accommodate up to eight people, Zenith features three bathrooms, two home theaters and a chef’s kitchen. The interior includes a hidden bar, a floating walnut table and an illuminated mother-of-pearl sculpture. Nearly every element is crafted from premium materials, reflecting a biophilic design approach that blends comfort with refined aesthetics.
The first level houses the kitchen, dining area, home theater and two bathrooms. The second level features a master suite with a full bathroom, walk-in closet, shoe storage and a starry-sky ceiling. A touchscreen control panel manages the lighting, professional audio system and video surveillance throughout the motorhome.
Technology and practicality
The trailer weighs 36 tons and is towed by a diesel truck. Before travel, the roof must be lowered into transport mode. With a water tank holding nearly 1.9 tons and all essential amenities on board, Zenith offers uncompromising comfort even when used off-grid.
Luxury and recognition
Combining advanced engineering, stylish luxury and practical design for true aesthetes, Zenith has won multiple international awards for its interior and overall design. The trailer remains a one-of-a-kind creation — a striking example of just how far imagination and innovation can go in the world of motorhomes.
