Kazakhstan enters world’s top 50 largest economies

Kazakhstan ranks 50th among the world’s largest economies, with a GDP of approximately $300 billion. The country also ranks among the top five globally in terms of average annual economic growth over the past 25 years, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Between 2000 and 2025, Kazakhstan’s economy grew at an average annual rate of 5.6%, according to the IMF’s latest World Economic Outlook. This places the country fifth worldwide in long-term growth among major economies.

Only China (8%), Vietnam and India (6.4% each), and Bangladesh (5.9%) reported higher average annual growth rates over the same period.
With a GDP of approximately $30.6 trillion, the U.S. remains the world’s largest economy and is expected to retain that position for the foreseeable future.
