The New Mexico Department of Justice says it is looking into a claim that two foreign girls were buried near Jeffrey Epstein’s Zorro Ranch, Reuters reported.
The claim comes from a redacted 2019 email included in the latest batch of Epstein-related documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice. The email, sent to New Mexico radio host Eddy Aragon, a few months after Epstein’s death, said two girls had been buried «somewhere in the hills outside the Zorro.» The sender also offered videos proving Epstein’s unlawful behavior with minors in exchange for one bitcoin.
A spokesperson for the New Mexico Department of Justice said the agency has asked the U.S. Justice Department for an unredacted version of the email and is actively looking into the claim. The U.S. Justice Department did not respond right away to requests for comment, and the FBI declined to comment.
A 2021 FBI report in the released documents says Aragon told the FBI about the email soon after he got it. He said he had not paid anything and had not contacted the sender again.
