Kazakhstani videographer Dastan Mukhamedrakhim has been named the world’s best travel blogger by the WIBA Awards 2026.
According to Mukhamedrakhim, he received an invitation to the awards ceremony in France, which is being held alongside the Cannes Film Festival. The invitation stated that he had been recognized as the world’s best travel blogger.
The blogger shared the news on his social media accounts, noting that WIBA (the World Influencer and Blogger Association) annually reviews achievements and selects the top influencers worldwide. The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 22.
Mukhamedrakhim also pointed out that in previous years the award has been presented to internationally renowned influencers such as Khaby Lame, Burak Özdemir, and Nusret Gökçe. His announcement quickly went viral, with followers congratulating him on his international recognition and wishing him continued success.

Interest in the blogger’s content has been growing not only in Kazakhstan but also elsewhere. Last year, Instagram’s official account shared several of his videos.
Earlier this year, Mukhamedrakhim met actor Will Smith at an international event in Dubai and presented him with a chapan, a traditional Kazakh coat.
