Pacquiao and Mayweather set for professional rematch in Las Vegas

Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather will meet again in a professional boxing rematch scheduled for Sept. 19 at the Sphere in Las Vegas. The bout will be broadcast live on Netflix, the BBC Sport reported.
The fight reunites two of the most prominent boxers of their generation. Mayweather, 48, retired from professional boxing in 2017 after defeating Conor McGregor and finishing his career with a 50-0 record, including 27 knockouts. Since then, he has taken part in several exhibition bouts.
Pacquiao, 47, stepped away from boxing in 2021 to focus on politics but returned to the ring in 2023. The Filipino star has won 12 world titles across eight weight divisions and holds a professional record of 62 wins in 73 fights.
The pair previously faced each other in 2015 in Las Vegas in a bout widely promoted as the «Fight of the Century.» The contest became the highest-grossing fight in boxing history, generating record pay-per-view sales and gate revenue. Mayweather won that fight by unanimous decision.
