A heartwarming video has gone viral on social media, capturing an unlikely friendship between a cat and several Kazakh hunting dogs.

In the clip, a cat named Misha darts out from beneath a haystack while two black Kazakh Tazy dogs sit atop large hay bales, calmly watching him. Another dog — a lighter and sturdier Tazy named Lashyn, which means «falcon» in Kazakh — soon joins the cat in a playful game of tag.

Later in the video, the animals curl up together in the hay after dinner. Misha affectionately licks his canine companions as they sleep side by side.
Viewers were quick to comment on the unusual bond. One user wrote that the intelligent dogs seem to recognize that the cat belongs to the same household and therefore accept him as part of the group. Another commenter noted how lucky the animals are to live on a farm with space to run and play — unlike many dogs confined to apartments.

Lashyn is the eldest dog on the farm and appears to take on a watchful role, keeping an eye on the others and even looking after puppies.
