A Level 3 maturity rating indicates that Kazakhstan’s regulatory system meets international standards for drug registration, quality control, safety and production oversight. It reflects a stable, well-functioning framework for ensuring that medicines are safe, effective and manufactured to global standards.
«This increases the trust of international organizations, investors and manufacturers in Kazakhstan’s pharmaceutical system,» the Ministry of Healthcare said in a statement.
The ranking was announced during the India-Kazakhstan Pharma Business Forum in Almaty, which brought together more than 60 pharmaceutical companies from India.
