Another foreign air carrier has entered Kazakhstan’s market. Starting June 12, 2026, FlyOne Armenia launches direct scheduled passenger flights to the country, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Transport said in a statement.

The airline operates the Yerevan-Almaty route. According to the schedule, two flights are operated per week — on Mondays and Fridays.

«The Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan is continuing efforts to expand the country’s flight network and increase the number of international air services. Starting June 12, FlyOne Armenia, an Armenian carrier, is entering Kazakhstan’s aviation market,» the statement read.

With the launch of the new service, the number of scheduled flights between Kazakhstan and Armenia will increase from three to five per week.

The ministry noted that the establishment of a new direct service aims to strengthen bilateral ties. New flights are expected to further develop cooperation between Kazakhstan and Armenia.

About the new carrier

FlyOne Armenia is a subsidiary of the Moldovan low-cost airline FlyOne. The carrier is one of the leaders in the Armenian market and ranks among the country’s top 100 taxpayers. The airline follows a price-undercutting strategy. Ticket prices for popular destinations start from €39-€44, positioning the company as a key player in the budget travel segment.
