
Chinese technology company SuperX AI Technology Ltd. is considering building a cluster of artificial intelligence data centers in Kazakhstan with a total capacity of up to 1 gigawatt (GW). The project would be implemented in stages between 2026 and 2029.

The proposal was discussed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and the company’s executives on the sidelines of the 17th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as Summer Davos, hosted by the World Economic Forum in China.
SuperX AI Technology develops AI infrastructure solutions and high-density data centers. The company is exploring plans to establish an AI data center and AI campus in Kazakhstan, while also supporting the development of energy and digital infrastructure and supplying server equipment and technology solutions for data centers.
Following the meeting, Bektenov instructed officials to establish a task force to conduct a detailed review of the investor’s proposal and coordinate further work on the project.
