Dimash Qudaibergen releases new music video for ‘Aqerke’

Renowned Kazakh singer Dimash Qudaibergen has released a music video for his song «Aqerke.» The video is available on the artist’s official YouTube channel. Kursiv LifeStyle watched it and shares what may impress viewers.

Although the song is about love for a woman and parting with her, the video portrays Kazakhstan and its people across different generations, including an older man and woman, children and football fans. In other words, the protagonist in the video appears to be expressing his love not for a woman, but for his homeland. Notably, some scenes were filmed in Aktobe, the singer’s hometown.

The video features several crowd scenes, including one where Dimash buys a truckload of flowers and gives them away to women. It also incorporates AI-assisted visual effects, such as a scene where multiple versions of the singer appear on screen.

The track «Aqerke» is an original arrangement of a Kazakh folk song. It is not the first time the singer has created such adaptations.
