Freedom Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş., part of Freedom Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: FRHC), which operates more than 200 offices across over 20 countries in North America, Europe and Asia, has received its operating license from the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB), becoming the first foreign brokerage firm with broad authorization to receive an operating license in Türkiye in 34 years. The license marks an important step in bringing Freedom Holding Corp.’s core brokerage business and international capital markets network to Türkiye.

Freedom Holding Corp. has grown into an international financial services group with USD 14 billion in total assets as of June 30, 2026, according to its latest financial results filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Brokerage remains the Group’s core business and a key driver of its growth, accounting for approximately 39% of the Group’s total net revenue. Freedom Yatırım’s entry into Türkiye brings this brokerage expertise and infrastructure to the Turkish capital markets.

Freedom Yatırım’s ambition in Türkiye goes beyond establishing a conventional brokerage operation. Leveraging TraderNet, Freedom Holding Corp.’s proprietary trading platform and a key component of the Group’s international brokerage infrastructure, the company plans to build a two-way connection between Türkiye and global capital markets.

For investors in Türkiye, this means progressively providing access to international markets through the Group’s global brokerage capabilities.

At the same time, Freedom Yatırım has already established an integration with Borsa İstanbul that will enable Freedom Holding Corp.’s international brokerage network, which serves more than 870,000 customer accounts across multiple markets, to access investment opportunities in the Turkish market. Through this connection, Freedom aims to support greater international participation in Türkiye’s capital markets and contribute to stronger links between Borsa İstanbul and global markets.

As part of Freedom Holding Corp.’s broader vision for an integrated ecosystem in Türkiye, Freedom Yatırım and Freedom Bank will bring together the Group’s capital markets and banking capabilities with a range of lifestyle services through an advanced digital infrastructure.

Commenting on the Group’s strategy in Türkiye, Timur Turlov, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Holding Corp., said:

«Becoming the first broadly authorized foreign brokerage firm to receive an operating license in Türkiye in 34 years is a strong vote of confidence from the regulator and reflects the strength we have built across our international operations.

Freedom Holding Corp.’s broader strategy in Türkiye is to build an integrated digital financial ecosystem around Freedom Bank and Freedom Yatırım. In doing so, we will draw on the Group’s experience in Kazakhstan, where the Freedom SuperApp, combining banking, investment and everyday digital services within a single platform, has already become an integral part of people’s daily lives. In Türkiye, we plan to adapt this model to the needs of the local market, progressively bringing together banking, brokerage and other financial services alongside lifestyle services in a seamless digital environment.»

Commenting on the Freedom Yatırım’s operating license, Vladimir Pochekuev, Partner at Freedom Holding Corp. and Chairman of the Board of Freedom Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş., said:

«Our expansion in Türkiye reflects our long-term commitment to this market. Freedom Bank and Freedom Yatırım are expected to form the core of this ecosystem, combining the Group’s technology and international capital markets infrastructure with local expertise to serve individuals, entrepreneurs and businesses.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the CMB for its support and commitment throughout the licensing process. Our financial scale, brokerage experience and technology give us a strong foundation to invest in Türkiye for the long term. We want to combine these capabilities with local expertise and build a sustainable presence in the country’s financial sector, while bringing significant value to the development of Türkiye’s capital markets.»

Commenting on Freedom Yatırım’s approach for the Turkish capital markets, Vusal Mammadov, Chief Advisor to the Board, said:

«Türkiye has a large and increasingly sophisticated investor base, with growing interest in diversifying investments across different markets and asset classes. We see a clear opportunity to combine Freedom’s international brokerage experience with a strong understanding of the local market and build our offering around the needs and expectations of investors in Türkiye. Technology and international market access will be important parts of our offering, but so will local expertise and the quality of service we provide.»

While receiving the operating license represents a major milestone, Freedom Yatırım is continuing its preparations before commencing operations. The company is currently focused on comprehensive system testing and operational readiness, with the aim of providing a seamless and user-friendly investment experience tailored to the Turkish market.
