Shakira may perform at Central Asia’s largest arena in Bishkek

Shakira, a world-renowned Colombian singer, may perform in Kyrgyzstan’s capital in November. According to 24.kg, the artist’s team and representatives of Kyrgyzstan are currently negotiating the terms of the concert.

According to Kyrgyz authorities, the concert is planned to take place at the new Bishkek Arena. As the parties are still finalizing organizational details, the exact date of the event has yet to be determined.

Bishkek Arena has a capacity of 51,000 spectators and meets FIFA standards. The first major event held at the stadium was the opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games on Aug. 31.

Shakira rose to international fame in the early 2000s. Her most famous songs include «Whenever, Wherever,» «Hips Don’t Lie,» «Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)» and «La Tortura.» The singer has won several Grammy and Latin Grammy awards.

Ticket prices and whether the concert will be part of her world tour are still unknown.

Meanwhile, Almaty is also reporting that both American rapper Eminem and Shakira have already confirmed their readiness to come to Almaty with their show programs. However, there is no information on when exactly this could happen.
