According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, the country wants to use the Pakistani ports of Karachi, Qasim and Gwadar for the transit of its goods to markets across the Persian Gulf, Africa and Southeast Asia.
Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Yerzhan Kistafin has already discussed the potential for close cooperation in this sphere with Minister for Maritime Affairs of Pakistan Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry.
