One of the most anticipated music events of the year in Kazakhstan is opening its doors to even more Jennifer Lopez fans.
The organizers of the Jennifer Lopez and Backstreet Boys concerts in Kazakhstan have announced that additional space will be made available at J.Lo’s show in Almaty on Aug. 10. Tickets are priced at around $75 and are available via Ticketon.kz.
«We are introducing a new ticket category — the Free Zone, a dance space filled with the atmosphere of a large-scale show,» the statement said.
Meanwhile, Almaty Mayor Darkhan Satybaldy recently visited the venue for an upcoming concert — the Central Stadium. According to the event organizers, the stadium is scheduled for an upgrade ahead of the global star’s arrival.
During the inspection, the mayor was told that the venue needs modernization to meet international standards. While the stadium’s original capacity was 35,000, it currently accomodates around 23,000 spectators.
«The Central Stadium must be brought up to standards. Everything needs to be reconstructed — from restrooms to pedestrian paths surrounding the stadium,» said the mayor.
Meanwhile, the dates, venue and ticket prices for the Backstreet Boys concerts and their prices in Kazakhstan have been revealed.
Earlier this week, Kazakh Tourism announced several tourism companies had launched package tours to Kazakhstan, with the concert in Astana included. A company in Dubai has also been tasked with selling 1,000 tickets.
Other major artists scheduled to perform in Almaty include Robbie Williams and Marilyn Manson, both appearing on stage at the Park Live Almaty music festival. Other notable performers include the Indian metal band Bloodywood and the Mongolian rock group The Hu.
