The Florida mansion featured in the iconic film «Scarface» has been listed for $237 million, potentially making it the most expensive residential property ever offered in Miami-Dade County.
In the movie, the estate serves as the home of drug lord Frank Lopez. It is where Tony Montana first visits for key meetings and later meets Elvira, before ultimately killing Lopez and taking over his business.
The property is located on Key Biscayne and spans approximately one hectare. It offers direct ocean access and includes 862 meters of waterfront with views of Miami. One of its most distinctive features is a large concrete platform in the bay, once used as a helipad and now serving as a marina for yachts up to 60 meters long.

The house, built in the early 1980s, measures around 1,200 square meters. It retains original features such as marble floors, 7-meter-high ceilings and the glass elevator seen in the film.
Inside, the home includes a kitchen with metal surfaces and teak elements, multiple bedrooms, and a lower level with a music studio and game room. Outside, there is a piano-shaped swimming pool, a relaxation area and a floodlit space with hundreds of lights.

Beyond its cinematic fame, the property is also linked to U.S. history, as it was once part of a complex used by Richard Nixon as a winter residence.

The current owner, who purchased the estate in the early 2000s, has made minimal changes in order to preserve its original character. The property is now being offered for sale amid strong demand for luxury real estate in Miami.
Last year, Kursiv LifeStyle reported on a villa on the French Riviera once owned by Mobutu Sese Seko. According to businessman Shalva Chigirinsky, who now owns the property, it had also attracted interest from former Kazakh president Nursultan Nazarbayev.
