Nursultan Nazarbayev Wants Washington, Moscow, Beijing and Brussels to Start Negotiations Between Each Other

Ex-President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said that he has been inspired with the idea to persuade four of the most powerful capitals to seat at the negotiation table. He announced this initiative during the informal online summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States.

Like many times before, this summit’s agenda was primarily focused on cooperation in such areas as economy, transportation, communication, culture and humanitarian sphere.

However, while speaking to the audience, Nursultan Nazarbayev highlighted new challenges that threaten all of humankind. He announced that he wants to bring together Washington, Moscow, Beijing and Brussels at the negotiating table and has called on leaders of Turkic-speaking countries to support his initiative.

”I believe that Turkic leaders will back up me and those capitals of great powers will hear our common voice,” he said. 

Nazarbayev sent Nauryz holiday greetings to his counterparts and wished all fraternal peoples peace and prosperity.

Among other participants of the summit were Kassym-Jomart Tokayev (president of Kazakhstan), Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (president of Turkey), Ilham Aliyev (president of Azerbaijan), Shavkat Mirziyoyev (president of Uzbekistan), Sadyr Zhaparov (president of Kyrgyzstan), Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow (president of Turkmenistan), Viktor Orban (prime minister of Hungary) and Bagdad Amreev (secretary-general of the council).
