Golovkin has revealed his next opponent

Prominent professional boxer from Kazakhstan Gennadiy Golovkin has announced his next world champion title fight.

The next opponent of Golovkin, the current middleweight IBF, IBO world champion (41-1-1, 36 КО) is Ryota Murata, a WBA (Super) champion from Japan (16-2, 13 КО).

«Big drama in Japan. See you on December 29,» wrote GGG on his Instagram account.

The title fight is going to be on December 29 at Saitama Super Arena in the Japanese city of Saitama. The facility is designed to house about 37,000 spectators. However, the only way to attend the event for viewers is to prove that you are fully vaccinated. DASN streaming service is going to translate the fight; the company has signed a contract with Golovkin which is valid until the end of 2021. The fight’s winner is expected to be awarded three champion titles at once.

Golovkin hasn’t fought since December 18 last year when in Florida he beat Kamil Szeremeta (21-2, 5 КО) from Poland and preserved his title of IBF champion. GGG sent the opponent to knockout in the seventh round.

Recently, boxing superstar Saul «Canelo» Alvarez from Mexico has also said that he is ready to fight with Golovkin for a third time. However, he wants the GGG team to accept his terms.
