During the IV Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that Kazakhstan wants to increase the turnover with Central Asian states to $15 billion a year.

The president noted that the country’s turnover with its Central Asian neighbors is constantly growing. Over the past five years, the rate rose by 42% and reached $6.3 billion.

Over the period from January to May 2022, the turnover of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the Eurasian Economic Union member states reached $9.9 billion, a 4.8% increase over the same period last year.
