The company is going to inform the country’s government about doubtful assets

The world’s biggest crypto exchange Binance and the Agency for Financial Monitoring of Kazakhstan are going to share data about crypto assets.

The two sides have signed a memorandum on cooperation in the sphere of cryptocurrency circulation and agreed to share information necessary for identification and to block any virtual asset gained illegally, according to the agency’s press service.

«This memorandum is going to be a solid foundation for the procedure of freezing crypto assets criminally obtained from Kazakhstan and their seizure by the country’s government,» the agency said.

In August, the Astana Financial Services Authority granted Binance its in-principle approval to operate a digital asset trading facility and provide custody in the Astana International Financial Center.
