Iran estimates damage from US and Israeli strikes

Damage from U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on Iran may be estimated at roughly $270 billion, according to Fatemeh Mohajerani, the official spokesperson for the Iranian government, as reported by RIA Novosti.
As the spokesperson noted, the issue of war reparations from the U.S. is one of the key topics being addressed by the Iranian negotiating team. In particular, this matter was discussed during recent talks in Pakistan.
She also emphasized that the country will pursue legal avenues to defend the rights of its people, including seeking compensation for the bloodshed of those killed at the Minab school.
On Feb. 28, the first day of the U.S. and Israeli attack on Iran, an American Tomahawk missile struck the Shajareh Tayyebeh elementary school for girls in the town of Minab in southern Iran, killing 171 children.
Meanwhile, after a two-week ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran failed, posing a new threat to regional security, the two sides decided to resume negotiations in Islamabad on April 16.
