The revived Russian automotive brand Russo-Balt, which flourished in the late days of Tsarist Russia, has revealed details about its future flagship, the C55 crossover. The fully electric vehicle features a design clearly inspired by the Tesla Cybertruck. Representatives of the Perm-based company also shared preliminary pricing and specifications.

Base version price

The base five-seat version of the C55 is priced at 8 million rubles (about $106,500). Preorders are already open, but deliveries are not expected to begin until 2027. An official test drive is scheduled for late summer 2026.

The developers say they have created an electric vehicle with a reinforced suspension and a stainless steel body, designed to withstand harsh Russian conditions.

Technical specifications

  • All-wheel drive
  • Two electric motors
  • Power: 550 hp
  • Top speed: 210 km/h
  • Acceleration (0–100 km/h): 6 seconds
  • Range: 500 km

The model is scheduled to be officially presented in summer 2026, when certification is also expected to begin.

At the same time, the company continues testing the Russo-Balt F200 van, unveiled in January 2026. At the time, Carscoops noted its strong resemblance to the Chinese Weiqiao New Energy V90.

The Russian F200 is also said to feature a stainless steel body, a 200-hp electric motor and a 115-kWh battery, with a range of up to 400 km on a single charge.

Judging by the renderings and specifications, the C55 emphasizes both performance and a striking exterior. If the stated specifications are confirmed, another Tesla-inspired «cyber»-style vehicle could enter the market.
