The launch ceremony for the filming of «Armour of God: Ultimatum» was held in Almaty. Kursiv LifeStyle learned how the event unfolded and who congratulated Jackie Chan on the project’s official launch.

«I express my gratitude to you for promoting Kazakhstan’s culture on the global stage and for strengthening the cultural and humanitarian ties between our countries. I wish you new creative achievements and success in the upcoming filming,» Balayeva said.
During the ceremony, Chan also met with young artists and graduates of the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts. Meanwhile, the children presented the actor with portraits of himself as souvenirs.
Filming began in June, although the official launch ceremony was held a month later. According to the Ministry of Culture’s press service, filming is scheduled to continue through October. Shooting will take place in the Mangystau and Almaty regions, as well as in the city of Almaty.
Previously, Kursiv LifeStyle shared photos from the film set in the Mangystau region. Salem Entertainment representatives also describe the film as the final installment in the «Armour of God» franchise.
