American actress Hayden Panettiere, known for her roles in the TV series «Heroes» and «Nashville,» has died at the age of 36. Kursiv LifeStyle explores what is known about the actress’s death and her career.

The actress’s father, Skip Panettiere, was the first to announce her death. The family has not yet disclosed the cause of death. In a statement, her relatives described Hayden as someone who brought love and joy to her loved ones and to millions of viewers who knew her through her work on screen.

Panettiere began her acting career as a child. In the 1990s, she appeared in the soap operas «One Life to Live» and «Guiding Light» before gradually moving on to larger television and film projects.

The actress rose to fame after starring in the series «Heroes,» in which she played Claire Bennet, a student with the ability to rapidly regenerate after injuries. Later, Panettiere landed another prominent role in the musical drama «Nashville,» playing aspiring country singer Juliette Barnes.

In addition to her television work, the actress appeared in films including «Remember the Titans,» «Ice Princess» and «Scream 4.» Her most recent projects include the 2024 thriller «Amber Alert» and «Sleepwalker,» released in 2026.

In recent years, Panettiere openly discussed her struggles with alcohol and postpartum depression. She is survived by her daughter, Kaya, who was born in 2014 during her relationship with Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko.

Hayden’s death came three years after the death of her younger brother, Jansen Panettiere, who died in February 2023 at the age of 28. The actress had repeatedly said that she was struggling to cope with the loss and had been unable to fully come to terms with her brother’s death.
