The legal proceedings between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have concluded after a judge resolved the remaining issue of legal expenses, The Guardian reported.
The two actors reached a settlement in May, shortly before the case was scheduled to go to trial, but the question of attorneys’ fees and costs remained outstanding.
U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman awarded Lively about $407,000 in attorneys’ fees and costs against her $8 million request.
The judge accepted the rates charged by Lively’s legal team but determined that the amount of work claimed for reimbursement was excessive. He also pointed to gaps in the supporting documentation, including the absence of the lawyers’ invoices.
The dispute originated in late 2024 following the production of «It Ends With Us,» which starred Lively and Baldoni and was directed by Baldoni. Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and creating a hostile workplace. Baldoni denied wrongdoing and later brought a defamation case against her.
