Rockstar Games has released an official extended gameplay video for Grand Theft Auto VI. The video was initially available exclusively on Netflix before being released on the developer’s official YouTube channel. Kursiv LifeStyle takes a look at the new gameplay footage.
The story is set in the fictional U.S. state of Leonida, which is inspired by Florida. The region’s main city is Vice City, familiar to fans of the series from GTA: Vice City.
The main protagonists are Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, who commit crimes and become caught up in a dangerous situation. At the same time, their relationship will be one of the central elements of the story.
In the recent gameplay demonstration, Rockstar showcased the game’s world and its inhabitants, as well as how the protagonists will navigate Vice City and other areas of Leonida. The developers promise to make the game world as detailed and lifelike as possible.
In-game social networks will also receive special attention. Meanwhile, Rockstar has yet to reveal details about the new version of GTA Online.
The video was initially released on Netflix; however, shortly after its release, Rockstar and Take-Two, began taking down user-uploaded recordings of the demonstration. Later, Rockstar officially released the video on its YouTube channel.
GTA 6 is scheduled to release on Nov. 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version is expected to release later.
