Melis Seidakhmetov

Melis graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in cultural studies and holds a Master of Humanities. He is also an alumnus of the MediaNet School of Journalism. Over the course of his career, he has worked as a journalist, managing editor, editor-in-chief and PR manager at the President zhane Khalyk newspaper, the Qamshy website, Choco Holding and the Ulysmedia portal. He is a winner of the “Erkin Soz” creative competition and the Rakhat Mamyrbek Award for political journalism, and has been part of the Kursiv Media team since 2025.
