Umitzhan Bakelekova

Umitzhan graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, specializing in publishing. She holds a master’s degree in social sciences and further enhanced her professional qualifications at the MediaNet International Centre for Journalism. She has 18 years of experience in journalism. Throughout her career, she has worked in the press service of a public organization, at the Adebiet Aidyny newspaper, and for the national outlet Aikyn. Since 2018, she has been working in the editorial office of the Kursiv Media business outlet, where she specializes in reporting on economics, business and finance.
