The Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan has fined FlyArystan, a low-cost subsidiary of the national air carrier AirAstana, approximately $7,700 for violating passengers’ rights on a delayed Almaty-Astana flight.
According to the Committee, the air carrier did not provide the passengers of the delayed flight with the legally required services. Thus, the passengers were provided with neither accommodation nor transfer to the hotel and back to the airport.
