In Tbilisi, people took to the streets near the parliament demanding the government to quit, according to RBK.
People have started to protest when it became known that Alexander Lashkarava, journalist and operator of the TV channel Pirvely, was beaten and died. On July 5 he participated in an LGBTQ march where participants were attacked by their opponents. According to the officials, there were about 50 attacks on media representatives including cameramen, journalists, and photographers.
