Sappers of the Ministry of Defense of Kyrgyzstan started to work in areas located near the border with Tajikistan to neutralize unexploded ordnance, according to TASS news agency citing the Kyrgyzstan Border Service.

On May 16, 2021, the airline Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will open a new flight between Nur-Sultan and Abu-Dhabi with a frequency of two flights a week. On May 22 the air travel from Abu-Dhabi to Almaty will also be available twice a week.
